Job description

Deployment Strategy Operations Lead | Americas

New York

On-site

Full-time

Own how Planhat runs post-sales. Design the programs that drive deployment and customer outcomes, operationalize them across our systems and workflows, and ensure our commercial teams execute them consistently.

We’re looking for a Deployment Strategy Operations Lead to own how we run post‑sales: the programs that structure deployment and customer outcomes, and how those programs are operationalized across our commercial teams. You’ll design the programs and ways of working, build them into our CRM and workflows, and make sure teams are actually using them consistently. It’s about connecting strategy with execution - building programs that work not just on paper, but in how our teams operate every day.

What we're looking for:

High-velocity operator: You like building, not just advising. You’re comfortable taking an ambiguous problem, creating structure around it, and driving it through to execution.

Analytical & commercially sharp: You’re comfortable working with data, defining what good looks like, and using insights to make decisions - not just producing reports.

Systems & workflow thinking: You can take a strategy or methodology and turn it into something teams can actually use: clear processes, CRM workflows, automation, and ways of working that stick.

AI-native: You naturally look for better ways to work. You’re highly comfortable with AI tools and automation and actively use them to move faster, reduce manual work, and rethink existing processes.

Cross-functional leadership: You’re a strong cross‑functional partner with a bias for action. You can work effectively with commercial leadership and the GTM Systems Lead, influence without direct authority, and keep things moving without waiting for perfect information or detailed instructions.

Trajectory

You’ll own our post‑sales programs across their full lifecycle, from initial strategy and design through operationalization, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement. Here’s what that looks like:

Own our strategic post‑sales programs - such as digital deployment, Executive Sponsor, AI use case rollout, and similar - from initial design and rollout through continuous improvement.

Translate Customer Success (CS) methodology into structured, repeatable ways of working, with clear ownership, workflows, and success metrics.

Own CS analytics and reporting: define what “CS performance” means, build the frameworks that measure it, and surface leading indicators, not just lagging ones.

Operationalize the programs you design in our CRM, translating them into practical workflows, automation, and structures that make them easy for commercial teams to execute.

Drive adoption and consistency across your programs, ensuring teams use the processes and workflows as intended and partnering with the GTM Systems Lead where broader system changes or administration are needed.

Continuously refine what we do based on performance and adoption data – scaling what works, improving what doesn’t, and stopping what isn’t delivering value.

Definition of Success

You are consistently moving our most important post‑sales priorities forward with speed, structure, and clarity - from initial idea through rollout and adoption.

You are seen as a trusted partner by the Deployment Strategy leadership team - someone who can take a complex or ambiguous problem, create structure around it, and drive it to resolution.

You are building deep knowledge of Planhat’s business, product, and post‑sales motion, allowing you to connect strategy, data, systems, and day‑to‑day execution.

You are proactively identifying gaps and opportunities across our programs and ways of working, and operationalizing solutions before they become blockers.

The programs you own are not just well designed - they are embedded into how teams work, consistently adopted, measurable, and continuously improving.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000 per year. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a generous PTO policy, and other benefits.

The Deployment Strategy team

The face of Planhat to our customers, owning the portfolio and driving outcomes, retention, and commercial growth across every account. We prioritize by risk, growth, and value, act early on expansion signals and churn risk, and take full ownership of the revenue targets we are accountable for.

New York

The commercial centre of the country, and home to a good number of the customers we serve. A small hub, close enough to meet the people we build for in person.

About us

We're building the operating system for autonomous companies.

The future enterprise is autonomous. Commercial processes that today depend on human effort - servicing, retaining, expanding, selling and supporting - will increasingly be automated. The companies that make this transition will pull ahead. The ones that don't won't survive.

Planhat exists to make that transition real.

We started bootstrapped. Customer-funded, built on discipline instead of venture capital. That foundation shaped everything: how we build, how we sell, how we think about the long game.

Today, Planhat is the agentic customer platform of choice for 700+ companies - powering close to 10 million commercial relationships worldwide and billions of dollars runs through our platform. Wiz, Revolut, Nasdaq, Synthesia, Workday and Dropbox run their customer revenue through Planhat every year.

The shift driving all of this: business is moving to an outcome economy. Companies of the future will not buy software alone anymore - they want outcomes, and they renew or consume more when they get them. That changes everything about what enterprise software needs to be.

The winners will be the ones who build the context layer - a deep, structured, living picture of their business reality. Process automation deployed by operators - not advisors.

Our team spans the globe, anchored by offices in Los Angeles, London, and Stockholm. Join us.
