Job description

A top-tier, confidential plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking a talented attorney to join its Portland, Oregon office. This firm has a national footprint and an exceptional reputation for advocating on behalf of individuals who have suffered serious and life-altering injuries — and is looking for an attorney who shares that passion for justice.

This is an ideal opportunity for attorneys with backgrounds in personal injury, catastrophic injury, toxic tort, products liability, mass tort, environmental litigation, or other plaintiff-focused civil practice areas. If you want your work to matter — both professionally and personally — this is the role for you.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage and litigate a caseload of plaintiff-side matters with independence and accountability, from initial intake through trial or settlement.
  • Build trusted, ongoing relationships with clients experiencing significant health or injury challenges — acting as their primary advocate and communicator.
  • Draft high-quality pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
  • Take and defend depositions, appear at hearings, and participate in mediation and trial proceedings.
  • Collaborate with a talented, supportive legal team to develop creative litigation strategies.
  • Manage case deadlines, court filings, and track case progress through a case management system.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Active Oregon State Bar license in good standing (required).
  • Strong litigation skills — writing, research, deposition, and courtroom experience.
  • Plaintiff-side litigation experience strongly preferred (personal injury, toxic tort, mass tort, products liability, or similar).
  • Ability to handle a high-volume caseload with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Empathetic, professional communicator who excels at working with clients through difficult situations.

Why You Should Apply:

  • Make a genuine difference in the lives of people who need a skilled advocate.
  • Highly competitive compensation: $125,000–$185,000 annually based on experience.
  • Full benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Supportive, collaborative work environment with a team that values your growth and contributions.
  • Join a nationally recognized firm with a proven track record and stable long-term career outlook.
