Job description

We are looking for dedicated and reliable kitchen team members to expand our back of house team at our high- volume pizzeria, rated number one in the country. As a kitchen team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operation and timely preparation of orders for guests. Our kitchen staff prepare appetizers, salads, pasta, sandwiches, and pizzas in our restaurant while maintaining clean, sanitary and well-stocked stations. Evening and weekend availability is required for this role. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, following established recipes and standards to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Operate kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, mixers) safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing utensils, equipment, and appliances, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing ingredients.
  • Monitor food supplies and replenish stock as needed to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak dining hours.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members to prioritize tasks, coordinate workflow, and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Assist with receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to uphold food quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience working in a high-volume kitchen or pizzeria environment preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet operational needs. Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional food for guests.

COMPENSATION: Hourly rate of $18 - $22, depending on experience.
