Cash Management Specialist

Department/Location: Cash Management / Lacey Branch

Employee Reports to: Cash Management Manager

FLSA: Hourly; Non-Exempt position

Status: Full-Time 76-80 Hours

Rate of Pay: $29.47 - $43.34 per hour

Summary/Objective: The Cash Management Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional service to business customers by supporting clients. This position provides a full range of technical support, product implementation, fraud prevention, and customer service for business banking clients. This role is instrumental in ensuring accurate setup, maintenance, and servicing client accounts.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide customer service and technical support for cash management products, including business online banking, ACH, remote deposit capture, positive pay, wire transfer services, and merchant services.
  • Coordinate end-to-end implementation of cash management services.
  • Perform on-site client training and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain customer records, cash management sales data, and service agreements.
  • Prepare new customer proposals including merchant services.
  • Assesses the customers’ needs, assists and explains services over the phone or in person in a timely manner, utilizing quality and professional communication skills.
  • Promote business for the bank by maintaining an up-to-date and thorough knowledge of programs, products and services.
  • Reviews and checks documents for completeness, accuracy and conformance with applicable rules/regulations and procedural requirements.
  • Ensure timely and thorough monitoring of all business service’s accounts through periodic reviews, continued analysis and proper supporting documentation.
  • Performs research and data gathering activities and prepares reports as requested.
  • Assist the Cash Management Manager in the annual relationship reviews for cash management clients.
  • Ensure cash management services comply with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of customer service experience.
  • 2+ years of Banking experience preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Six months-1 year of general office and customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of basic office practices, procedures and techniques.
  • Experience providing hardware and software technical support assistance.

  • Provides an exceptional level of quality service for internal and external customers.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written, presentation, and telephone etiquette business communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of cash management products.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
