Char & Lemon located in the heart of Oxford, CT is looking for a seasoned, professional pizza cook, who wants to grow with our team. You must be able to maintain a positive work atmosphere and work well in high-pressure situations. As a pizza maker, you will be committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift. 

Duties:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare dough, sauces, and fresh toppings. Cook pizzas, and menu items to our standards.

  • Oven & Station Management: Stretch dough, assemble orders, and manage oven times to deliver hot, high-quality food quickly.

  • Order Accuracy: Read kitchen tickets accurately to ensure orders are correct every time.

  • Kitchen Sanitation: Keep your station clean and organized, follow food safety guidelines, and complete opening/closing cleaning duties.

  • Teamwork: Work closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to maintain a fast, positive work flow.
