Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Service Tech to join the team of our client in the agriculture irrigation industry.

This is a direct hire role, working out of the company's Beloit location.

As a service department member, the service tech will have overall general knowledge of center pivot irrigation operations to be able to perform preventative maintenance, trouble shoot, service, and install irrigation equipment. Further, work quality will create the impression of NCI as the employer of choice in the irrigation market.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Wire and test new and used irrigation equipment.
  • Communicate positively with customers, creating a valued partnership.
  • Perform various activities such as climbing, carrying tools and operating mini excavator
  • Good diagnostic skills of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to repair standard and VFD pump panels.
  • Attend meetings, sales events, and training opportunities to learn new technology and equipment as it becomes available.
  • Help build and repair center pivot irrigation systems
  • Ability to work alone on assigned projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of Pivot control panel function and system telemetry

Qualifications:

  • High School or GED required, trade certificate programs preferred.
  • Valid drivers license and good driving record to drive company vehicles
  • Knowledge of Agriculture industry and Irrigation systems preferred.
  • Prefer several years of prior work experience
  • Knowledge of 480 volt 3 phase electricity, multi meter, and basic hand tools.
  • Knowledge of operating a laptop, including the Microsoft office suite of products

Schedule:Full-time day shift role, generally 7am - 5pm Mon - Fri depending on job sites
