What are Piv Drivers?

Piv Drivers are skilled operators responsible for driving and managing Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs), such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, in warehouses or distribution centers. Their main duties involve loading, unloading, and transporting materials safely and efficiently within the facility. Piv Drivers must adhere to safety protocols, perform equipment checks, and help maintain an organized work environment. Training and certification are usually required for operating PIVs, ensuring that drivers understand safe handling and operational procedures.
