Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Perform duties necessary to prepare, confirm counts to production ticket, stretch wrap, balance pallet loads, etc. expedite and dispatch transfers and shipments.
  • Successfully complete the OSHA approved PIT training and operate all PIT equipment safely.
  • Perform material handling fork truck duties as assigned.
  • Accurately maintain complex records of transactions.
  • responsible for 5s in all work areas.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
High School Diploma Equivalency/ GED
Being able to successfully train and learn how to drive PIT equipment (lift trucks).
Review Production items for Shipment Quality, and prepare/load material on trucks for shipment.
Be able to complete/execute the necessary document requirements for shipping, including system transactions.
Load material correctly on outgoing semi trailers.
Maintain 5S requirements for area cleanliness.
Be able to work individually and within a Team environment on activities.
