Job description

Childs Tire is looking for someone who can help us on our next journey to grow our business. We are founded on the principles of "Pit Stop Like Service," dating back to the 1980's, when the Childs brothers were pit crew-members of hall of fame NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct flat tire repair, mounting, and balancing and general tire service
  • Assist fellow technicians / mechanics in performing various technical activities
  • Preform Oil Changes and Tire Work
  • Industrial/Commercial Tire experience (preferred)
  • Maintain an organized and tidy bay
  • Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules and regulations
  • Document all work performed and recommended on assigned repair order
  • Conduct road test to determine work needed and to confirm work was successfully completed when necessary and practical

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license, with a clean driving history
  • ASE certifications (preferred)
  • State Inspectors License (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Strong communication, organizational and phone skills
