JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of our pit crew, you will work alongside the team to manage and maintain fire and temperature of our cooks. This will involve chopping and loading logs into our firepit, loading proteins into smoker, etc. Previous experience is preferred, but there is onsite training available to those willing to learn the trade. Time management and effective communication with staff are vital for this role. As an apprentice you will work along side the Pit Master to hone your skills and learn the craft of barbecue. Pit Masters and Pit Apprentice are the backbone of the barbecue industry, you will learn knowledge of wood types, fire management, meat trimming and sausage making.
