The Opportunity
Infinity Natural Resources is seeking a Construction Foreman to oversee the construction of well pads & access roads, water pipelines, public roadway improvements, and other civil-related infrastructure projects within the oil and gas industry. This position ensures that all construction activities comply with Infinity & industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Location:
This is a field-based position working primarily out of our Pennsylvania locations in Armstrong & Indiana counties. 
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Oversee daily construction activities for well pads, access roads, water lines, public roadway improvements, and other civil infrastructure projects to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Inspect construction work for quality, compliance with applicable codes and industry standards, and adherence to Infinity’s safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
  • Identify, document, and communicate deviations, deficiencies, safety concerns, or environmental issues, and recommend corrective actions to support timely resolution.
  • Conduct follow-up inspections to confirm corrective actions have been completed and issues have been resolved.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, including photographs, notes, daily/weekly reports, and supporting documentation for review and audit purposes.
  • Use SiteView cost tracking software to enter and maintain weekly construction cost estimates and monitor alignment with approved AFE budgets.
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure invoices are reviewed, coded, approved, and submitted for payment in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the in-house Construction Foreman, project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address project needs, communicate inspection findings, and support timely decision-making.
  • Attend project meetings as needed and provide clear updates on construction progress, inspection results, risks, and open action items.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with landowners, township trustees, county engineers, state agencies, ODNR, DEP, and other external stakeholders; escalate issues promptly to help maintain Infinity’s strong standing with all parties.
  • Maintain a good driving record and follow Infinity’s driving safety standards

Your Background:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or technical certification in construction technology, civil engineering, or a related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and/or inspection within the oil and gas industry. 
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes for well pads, access roads, water lines, and related infrastructure. 
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements specific to oil and gas construction. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document construction defects and deviations. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools, software, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; must be able to travel to various project sites as needed.   
  • Able to operate standard office/computer equipment. 
  • Must be able to perform a medium level of physical work – exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.    
  • See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
