Construction Labor Job Description:
  • Help equipment operators and other crafts as necessary
  • Help care for construction equipment and machines
  • Prep sites by clearing obstacles and hazards
  • Load or unload construction materials
  • Remove, fill, or compact earth
  • Follow instructions from Foremen and Supervisors
  • Be ready to learn on-the-job
  • Perform site-clean up
  • Stay aware of potential hazards and be ready to alert others
  • Shovel work, pipe laying, and hand grading are other types of duties
