Job description

Come Join our amazing, Employee-Owned Company and become a part of the crew! Pipe Layers are responsible for assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for storm drain, water, and sewer installation.
Key Duties:
  • Lay pipe for storm or sanitary sewer, drains, and water mains.
  • Utilize a grade rod to set grade.
  • Set and mud trench boxes.
  • Sets the laser at the proper grade for task at hand.
  • Makes sure pipe is installed at the proper grade.
  • Assist the heavy equipment operator in proper depth for the pipe being installed.
  • Ensures pipes are fitted and aligned properly per foreman.
  • Makes sure pipe is backfilled and chalked in properly.
  • Ensures that the trench has all the proper safety equipment in place per OSHA regulations.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to learn grading math.
  • 2 years' experience as a pipe layer on a site work or utility crew.
