We are seeking a skilled Copper Pipefitter to work in supermarket and convenience store environments. This role involves reading blueprints, installing and brazing copper piping, and ensuring proper refrigerant flow in refrigeration systems. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in measuring, fitting, and insulating piping.
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
• Copper Pipefitter in a supermarket/ convenience store setting.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Understand flow of refrigerant.
• Measure, fit, and braise copper pipe.
• Cut and give insulation as needed.
• Follow company and customer safety protocols
• This position is safety sensitive.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in HVAC, pipefitting, or a similar field.
• Must have strong knowledge of refrigerant and copper pipefitting.
• Journeyman license is highly preferred.
• Must have a valid class E drivers license for use of company vehicles.
• OSHA 10 certification highly preferred, but will be required within the first 60 days of employment.
