Position Purpose:
The Senior Specialist Category Marketing will facilitate marketing strategy under the guidance of the Category Marketing Manager through researching the market and facilitating strategic brief development. Along with coordinating and tracking key milestones and deliverables to accomplish campaign timeline objectives, this role will require cross-functionally partnership and communication including internal partners and Orange Apron Media teams and suppliers, as needed. This individual should leverage their marketing expertise to align internal and external partners in omni-channel engagement opportunities and support of department priorities. This individual will partner with internal stakeholders to understand departmental strategies, build cohesive & innovative campaign plans for omni-channel marketing deployments, and triage execution with internal owned and paid media teams. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly visible team that's reshaping digital advertising in the world's largest home improvement retailer.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 45% Campaign Support - Track and communicate milestones and execution of campaigns with Paid Media team and cross-functional partners; Ensure detailed documentation provided for planned campaigns, and support QC of campaign assets; Ensure campaigns launched in alignment with plans, and that relevant department priorities are appropriately highlighted
  • 30% Coordinating & Collaboration - Collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners to ensure share out and up to date marketing direction are provided to relevant partners as needed; Refine future campaign plans based on business insights, sales performance, and completed campaign results
  • 20% Marketing Data Entry & Strategic Support- compile strategic priorities, product assortment and messaging requirements into tools for enablement and broad share out to marketing efforts across the enterprise.
  • 5% Projects - Work on special projects as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience (i.e. advertising, marketing, media, social, or agency roles)
  • Experience in digital media, retail e-commerce, marketing / advertising technology, and on-site advertising products
  • Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience with SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Understanding of digital properties (i.e. Google, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter) & technical execution of digital marketing (i.e. advertiser platforms, key digital KPIs, audience identification, trafficking)
  • Familiarity with integrated marketing plans and creative asset briefs
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to details
  • Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors in both verbal and written communications
  • An adaptive mindset and a willingness to learn new skills & processes
  • Ability to manage deadlines & milestones across multiple simultaneous projects
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to seek help as needed
