Job description

This role sits within the Program Management team in the SMB & Channel sales team. As a Lead Program Manager for Global Vendor Operations, you'll be responsible for shaping how Pinterest manages critical vendor partnerships and serve as a key operator at the intersection of operations, risk, legal, procurement, and business performance. This role will help define how Pinterest measures vendor success, how performance issues are identified and escalated, and how operating cadence and accountability are standardized globally. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating a culture of continuous innovation and operational excellence.

What you'll do:

  • Establish and maintain global performance performance scorecards to monitor vendor performance, quality, and timeliness
  • Use AI to create scalable tracking and alerting mechanisms to ensure vendor compliance against contractual terms
  • Serve as the global escalation point for vendor performance issues; triage, prioritize, and manage resolution across regions, consolidating insights for executive teams
  • Lead breach management: RCA facilitation, corrective action plan development, execution tracking, and verification of sustained recovery
  • Maintain an auditable record of vendor adherence, breaches, actions taken, and outcomes to support contract management decisions
  • Run global vendor operating cadence (monthly / quarterly), ensuring clear performance narratives and documented follow-ups
  • Own accuracy of vendor tracking systems (i.e. onboarding / offboarding processes, supervisory orgs in Workday, etc.) and drive standardization across vendor processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vendor efficiency and cost-effectiveness

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or other related field with a minimum of 8+ years of professional work experience including 5-8+ years of experience in operations, vendor management, program management, or financial operations
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs.
  • High integrity and ownership: you protect sensitive data, avoid over-reliance on AI, and remain accountable for final decisions and deliverables
  • Proven track record of building and scaling vendor networks
  • Leadership: Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex operations and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • Analytical Rigor: Expert-level ability to use data to tell a story, identify trends, and drive action in a fast-paced environment
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate a complex, global matrix organization
  • Advanced working skill set with Salesforce, Tableau, and MS Office / Google Suite

Relocation Statement:

  •  This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. Visit our PinFlex page to learn more about our working model.

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6-months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
