Pinnacle Flex Wellness Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our exceptional team. This full-time position is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Newport News, Virginia. As an integral member of our team, you will deliver specialized physical therapy interventions aimed at promoting optimal function and recovery for our patients, all while earning a competitive annual salary between USD 90,000 and 110,000.

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work directly onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, where a collaborative team environment is cultivated. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities through diagnostic testing, ensuring that muscle, nerve, and joint functions are thoroughly examined.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician prescriptions and patient evaluations to address specific orthopedic conditions.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual exercises, therapeutic activity facilitation, and the application of modalities such as traction and massage to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants and support staff, ensuring proper implementation of treatment protocols and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Prepare detailed clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to the OASIS format and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in interdisciplinary case conferences, contributing to comprehensive treatment strategies and adjustments to care plans as indicated by patient progress.
• Provide education and training to patients and families on the appropriate use of therapeutic devices and home exercise programs to promote independence and recovery.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clinic’s commitment to personalized care means you will engage closely with each patient, focusing on their unique recovery journey.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in either acute care or home care settings is required.
• Current and active PT licensure in Virginia.
• Valid CPR certification and a dependable personal vehicle with appropriate insurance.
• Exceptional communication skills, coupled with a strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence.

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-surgery recovery programs.
• Familiarity with current physical therapy practices and methodologies, as well as regulatory standards in healthcare.
• Prior experience working collaboratively in a team-focused health care environment.
