Job description

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our established team at Pima Heart and Vascular, a highly respected physician-led group providing advanced, patient-centered cardiovascular care. This opening is due to a physician retiring therefore this is an established practice with the ability to build up a patient panel swiftly.

Pima Heart and Vascular
Our physicians provide services at clinics throughout Southern Arizona, as well as at 100%-owned ambulatory surgery center, office-based lab, vein clinic and area hospitals and health systems. This is a premier Cardiovascular practice with one of the nation's leading structural heart and cardiovascular research programs with opportunities to participate in research and lead clinical trials.

Our collegial team provides a full range of diagnostic tests, clinical treatments, and surgical services, including general and interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery and electrophysiology as well as a comprehensive suite of in-house ancillary services

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative cardiology care in the office and hospital settings
  • Interpret non-invasive cardiac studies including echocardiograms, stress testing, and nuclear studies
  • Perform and interpret EKGs, Holter monitors, and event monitors
  • Collaborate with other cardiologists and medical professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in call rotation
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Engage in quality improvement and practice development initiatives

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Fellowship trained in Cardiology
  • Current Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
  • Expertise in advanced cardiac imaging (e.g., Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT) preferred
