What is a pillow tester?

Pillow testers are professionals who evaluate the quality, comfort, durability, and safety of pillows before they reach consumers. Their work may involve physically testing pillows by lying on them, measuring firmness, checking for defects, and sometimes conducting laboratory tests for allergens or materials. They provide feedback to manufacturers to ensure that the pillows meet certain standards and customer expectations. Pillow testers may also help develop new pillow products by giving insights on materials and design.
