The Opportunity

Pilkington Construction Co. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to drive the successful execution of complex Commercial, Government, and Federal projects in the Yuma area.

If you have 5+ years of experience, speak the language of blueprints, and are highly proficient in Procore and Bluebeam, this is your opportunity to step into a true leadership role. What You Will Be Doing

You will serve as the operational hub of the project, collaborating seamlessly with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality delivery:

  • Project Controls Mastery: Manage and meticulously track submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement logs, and project schedules.

  • Technical Oversight: Thoroughly review project drawings and specifications to proactively identify scope gaps, conflicts, and constructability issues before they impact the field.

  • Site Coordination: Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve complex technical issues on the fly.

  • Financial Tracking: Review cost reports and actively assist Project Managers in managing project budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead critical project meetings, passionately support safety initiatives, and mentor junior engineers on industry best practices.


What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in construction project engineering or management. (Experience in Healthcare, Commercial, or Industrial builds is highly preferred!)

  • Tech Stack: High proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam, alongside MS Project and Microsoft Excel.

  • Industry Knowledge: A strong, comprehensive understanding of construction contracts, change management processes, and commercial construction codes.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field is required.

  • Bonus Skills: Experience with Design-Build, CMAR, or Public Works projects. An OSHA 30 certification is a major plus!
