Job description

Bethany Athletic Club is seeking an energetic, professional and certified Pilates Reformer Instructor who has a passion for Pilates and improving the lives of our members through health and fitness. This is a part-time position, that would require weekday and weekend availability. 

Pay: Commission (40%-50% DOE)

Shift/Schedule Preference: Weekday early morning (7A/8A), evenings (5P/6P) and Weekend availability preferred. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • A minimum 2+ years of Pilates experience (required)
  • 2+ years of personal training experience (preferred)
  • Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style
  • Punctual, reliable and dedicated
  • Client-service driven, including professional and effective communication
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout environment
  • Assist in building club and department revenue by promoting retail and membership sales & services
  • Have flexibility in schedule to instruct or cover as needed
  • **WEEKEND/EVENING AVAILABILITY IS A MUST**

Qualifications

  • A nationally recognized personal training/Pilates reformer certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA preferred)
  • Nationally recognized Pilates Reformer Certification required (e.g Stott Pilates, Fusion Pilates, Balanced Body, etc.)Nationally recognized Pilates Reformer Certification required (e.g Stott Pilates, Fusion Pilates, Balanced Body, etc.)
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
  • Experience in a health club or private fitness facility preferred
  • Experience in training sales and client retention a plus
  • Flexible availability

Language Requirement

All team members must have the basic abilitytouse computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend writtendocuments suchasworkorders,safetyrules,instructions,policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
