FS8 is a boutique fitness brand that offers a low-impact workout experience by combining Pilates, Tone, and Yoga into one integrated program. The name FS8 stands for Functional Style 8, referring to the brands eight core elements that guide its holistic training philosophy; including mobility, posture, strength, balance, flexibility, and mindfulness.
FS8 appeals to members who want a full-body workout that improves physical fitness while also supporting mental well-being. FS8 is part of The FIT Group, which also owns F45 Training and Vaura Pilates, and operates through a global franchise model. Studios deliver professionally programmed workouts using reformer Pilates machines, light resistance equipment, and structured class formats.
FS8 was originally founded in Australia in 2021 and has expanded into regions across Europe, Asia, North America and the Middle East.
FS8 Cresskill is looking for an energetic Pilates Trainer to deliver an incredible workout experience at in-studio. This is an amazing opportunity to join the FS8 Cresskill team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Part Time and Full Time, which requires early mornings, evenings and weekend work
  • Deliver Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, Tone and Yoga instruction for group classes
  • Must be skilled at the proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, including but not limited to dumbbell weights, Reformer, Springboard, Magic Circle and other equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experience.
  • Visually inspect the equipment prior to the beginning of class to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to use
  • Responsible for studio tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by studio management
  • Participate in networking/community events as needed and studio promotions to generate new business
  • Stay up to date with, and implement FS8 brand and athletics standards at all times
  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Minimum education to include; Mat and Reformer certification. Applicants with 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education (Minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, and Springboard) will be strongly considered.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience teaching 10 or more participants in an apparatus-based group class
  • Demonstrated group reformer instruction abilities
  • Professional and effective communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of the benefits of Pilates, Tone and Yoga.
  • Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry
  • Comfortable adding Yoga, Trigger Point and Foam Roller to teaching repertoire
  • Passion for learning and attending continued education training
  • Punctual and Reliable
