Job description

The Warehouse position is responsible for all efforts related to shipping, inventory control, warehouse sanitation, and receiving while maintaining a safe environment. This responsibility includes ensuring efficiency as well as accuracy with inventory control.

Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Lucks finished goods to customers, including palletizing, wrapping & staging materials as well as picking & packing orders.
  • Receive and put away all incoming shipments, adhering to HACCAP standards and food safety compliance.
  • Safely operate forklift, pallet jacks, order picker and other equipment for material movement, while maintaining up-to-date certifications/licenses.
  • Prep and stage materials for production.
  • Prioritize attention to detail & understanding of lot number tracking associated with expiration dates.
  • Observe, record & report inventory levels to prevent product shortages & expiration.
  • Perform Cycle Counts when necessary.
  • Warehouse sanitation, per BRC required practices.
  • Use and understand Personal Protective Equipment in a safe manner.
  • Report all food and personnel safety concerns to Warehouse Management.
  • Perform administrative duties in MRP system, ensuring timely updates and accurate data input into the system.
  • Document all incoming and outgoing deliveries per company requirements.
  • Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
  • Achieve individual performance standards alongside continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule with occasional overtime and/or weekend hours.
  • Prior warehouse experience desired.
  • Ability to lift, push/pull up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, or reach above the shoulders and below the knees in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptive and flexible to change.
  • Proficient computer skills to include warehouse specific software.
  • Exceptional time management, organization, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic planning abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with diverse groups of co-workers and supervisors.
  • Strong attention to detail.
