SmartTalent is looking to hire a packaging/shipping associate for a manufacturing company in Seattle. Ideal candidate will be motivated to work full time and have over 1 year warehouse experience (details below).


TITLE: Packaging/Shipping

LOCATION: Seattle, WA

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

PAY: $22

BENEFITS OFFERED: Paid Weekly, Direct Deposit, Affordable Health Care, Full-Time, Opportunities

ABOUT THE JOB

The Packaging and Shipping Associate is responsible for picking, packaging and shipping customer orders. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure customer orders are completed and shipped on time and per the customer’s requirements.

JOB DUTIES

• Reads pick sheets, identifies product, picks and inspects products to be staged for customer shipments.

• Utilize ERP System to post customer orders, print labels and print product instructions.

• Maintains and replenishes raw materials at packaging stations.

• Ensures products picked are selected according to manufactured date. Orders are filled with oldest product first: “First in, First out” (FIFO).

• Maintain and ensure product and product bins are properly identified.

• Utilize ERP and Shipping systems to process and ship domestic orders.

• Participates and supports coaching and training teammates.

• Effectively communicate with other team members to compete job responsibilities.

• Follows and supports safety Policy.

• Upholds and supports values and principles.

REQUIREMENTS:

·Good attendance is an absolute must!

·Able to lift up to 50lbs

·At least 1+ year experience with packaging/shipping

·Experience with measuring instruments (rulers, calipers)

·Basic computer skills

·Must have reliable transportation
