Job description

Are you an experienced Warehouse Associate looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with consistent hours and the potential to be hired permanently?

Located in Sumner, WA, a well-established distributor of waterworks and infrastructure products is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join its warehouse team. This company supplies products used in commercial and municipal infrastructure projects throughout the region.

This Warehouse Associate opportunity is ideal for someone with warehouse and forklift experience who enjoys staying active, working independently, and being part of a small team where reliability and strong attendance are valued.
 
Warehouse Associate Job Duties
  • Pick customer orders using an RF scanner.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Break down pallets and wooden crates using hand and power tools.
  • Operate a sit-down propane forklift.
  • Sweep, clean, and organize the warehouse.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and other general warehouse duties.
  • Flex between order pulling, warehouse maintenance, and training based on daily business needs.
Pay
  • $21.50 per hour
 
Schedule
  • Monday – Friday
Shift    
  • 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs.
 
Warehouse Associate Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience.
  • At least 6 months of RF scanner order picking experience.
  • At least 6 months of sit-down forklift experience moving heavy or awkward loads.
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 75 pounds and push, pull and maneuver material weighing up to 300 pounds.
  • Strong attendance, communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
