The Industrial Engineer role has a national salary range of $70,000 - $115,000.
For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $115,000 and Washington is $80,169 - $115,000.

In this role, you'll be exposed to multiple operations of different sizes, with different products and processes. You'll work independently to manage deadlines and prioritize your workload in a manner that enables you to achieve results. You'll provide support with layout, design, improvement, and implementation that enables our sites to achieve peak performance. You'll champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects for the customer, and you'll identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements. Your voice will be heard loud and clear in management circles, and you'll deliver results that have a direct impact on company profitability.
Job Responsibilities
  • Work independently to manage deadlines and prioritize your workload in a manner that enables you to achieve results
  • Provide support with layout, design, improvement, and implementation that enables our sites to achieve peak performance
  • Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects for the customer
  • Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent, required
  • 0-4 years of experience in distribution or logistics, required
  • Experience with distribution, logistics, project management, preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent work experience, required
  • Some knowledge of Industrial Engineering, preferred
  • Basic concept of a warehouse operation (inbound, put away, pick, pack, ship)
  • Capable of using AutoCAD and making layout changes
  • Familiar with basic concept of continuous improvement and can identify low hanging fruit opportunities within an operation
  • Performs GEMBA walks with operations team
  • Can perform a time study and convert it to meaningful data
  • Can use flowcharting software and can outline process steps
  • Learning to communicate / interact with outside organizations (vendors, customers, and government)
  • Utilizes conventional or routine approaches to problem-solving but shows the ability to think beyond the obvious solutions
  • Develop relationships with vendors, suppliers, operators, and support functions for problem solving
  • Capable of identifying a problem
  • Strengthen communication skills across various levels within the organization
  • Able to gain understanding of processes to identify areas of opportunity
