SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator, Basic to provide material handling, warehouse, storage, and logistics support of engineering systems and equipment.
 
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform material picking, pulling, ordering, and DRMO processing.
  • Monitor material requirements and track the movement of materials with purchasing, production, and warehouse personnel in accordance with established priorities.
  • Coordinate the transfer of materials, parts, and finished products between source locations and final destinations.
  • Input and maintain required property records and database information.
  • Support physical inventory audits of government property.
  • Research various databases to determine material locations, sources, and disposition.
  • Support federal stock system research to identify manufacturers, part numbers, and National Stock Numbers (NSNs).
  • Review material kits for accuracy in support of production job orders.
  • Comply with Government Property requirements and Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
 
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Three (3)+ years of experience in logistics tracking, reporting, recordkeeping, warehousing, material transfer, issuance, and disposition of government and/or commercial property.
  • Two (2)+ years of experience supporting government property requirements and/or defense life-cycle material management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and database management skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
 
 
The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of any of the following: Employment history; Education and/or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate's suitability for the position.
 
Position Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000. The listed salary range represents the typical range for this position. WR bases the offered salary on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, knowledge, and skills, scope and responsibilities of the position, and market and business considerations.
