Job description

The Engineer I is responsible for:
  • Respond to all guest's requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in department needs as directed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Engineer I's primary responsibilities will include:
  • Respond or perform duties of a groundskeeper, handle and double check guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
  • Complete work order request forms on a daily and timely basis.
  • Perform duties of helper or as assigned.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to the Director of Engineering.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITY
  • Must have basic knowledge of building mechanical systems and controls, energy management and building maintenance skills.
  • May require ability to drive pick-up truck and snow removal equipment.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Education -High school diploma required.
  • Experience - Six months experience in related field preferred.
