Material Handler

In this role, you'll help ensure engineered wood products are safely received, stored, and shipped to our customers with accuracy and efficiency. Safely load and unload trucks containing engineered wood products and building materials.

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Move and organize inventory throughout the warehouse and outdoor storage areas.

Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Work closely with warehouse, operations, and delivery teams to ensure excellent customer service.

Maintain and inspect chainsaws and other tools.

Miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Previous warehouse, distribution, lumber yard, or material handling experience is a plus but not required. Forklift experience or certification preferred (training available for qualified candidates). Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Basic math and communication skills.

Physical Requirements: Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 100 pounds; heavier materials are moved using equipment or team lifting. Stand, walk, bend, climb, and reach throughout the workday. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
