Job description

Job Description:
The Order Filling associate reports directly to the Order Filling Manager. The Order Filler is key to AWBC's success in delivering product in a timely manner. The Order Filling associate performs all order filling functions including but not limited to: Picking orders, pulling merchandise to fill orders through direction of voice pick headset device, stacking items into totes and onto carts/conveyor belt in a fast and accurate manner. The Order Filling Clerk demonstrates behavior that supports AWBC core values.
Roles and Responsibilities

    • Fills store and customer orders for all customers.
    • Responsible for removing product from shelves as requested.
    • Add or remove labels from product as assigned.
    • Scan or key orders per established process.
    • Responsible for following all safety rules, regulations, and guidelines.
    • Accurately identify the correct items from their correct location.
    • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
    • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
    • Computer Skills
    • Basic Mathematical Skills
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Must be Able to:
    • Communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
    • Read and write legibly. Including very small print.
    • Listen to information, and follow directions provided through an electronic headset.
    • Walk up to 4 hours a day. Walking short distances through the department/building.
    • Use hands/arms to operate required equipment and repetitive motion activities.
    • Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
    • Communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
    • Bend, stoop, or crouch while performing daily activities of the job.
    • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
Must be able to work in variable work locations when needed.
