Job description

Muhlenberg High School has a vacancy for an Assistant Boys High School Soccer Coach. 
Beginning Fall 2026 season (Job may have off season training during Summer 2026 once Board approved)
Successful candidates should believe in the importance of the impact of extra-curricular activities in a child's K-12 experience and overall social, emotional and academic development.
Preferred:
Prior coaching experience in scholastic soccer
Bilingual candidates
Required:
High School Diploma
Knowledge of sport/ Experience in the sport
Ability to work in a team setting
Ability to give clear direction
Ability to supervise and direct others
Must be interested in supporting and working with all student-athletes
Knowledge of PIAA rules and policies governing the sport
Ability to work within the Blueprint/Action Plan of the Muhlenberg School District 
Clearly communicate to student athletes, parents, school officials and sport officials
Work collaboratively/cooperatively with the High School Head Coach to ensure their philosophy is being carried out throughout the 7-12 program
Interested applicants must have current clearances, Acts 34, 114, 151 and 168 and three professional references. 
The successful candidate will be required to participate in all training as required by PIAA.
