The Aerospace Engineering department is seeking to fill faculty positions requiring basic training in engineering relating to one of the fields listed below, such as Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Physics Engineering. Spacecraft operations: The operation of spacecraft and systems involves the launch, space flight dynamics, and maintenance of the spacecraft.

  • Carry out funded, potentially interdisciplinary research projects with local, national and international partners;

  • Have experience in conducting research in collaboration with industry or solid experience in industrial R&D;
  • Demonstrate excellent skills related to training highly-qualified personnel through research projects and teaching;
  • Be proficient in French (oral and written), in compliance with the ETS Language Policy (in French), or demonstrate a willingness to learn French and enter into a francization process with the support of ETS.

COMPENSATION

We are seeking applications for a position leading to tenure, open to all faculty ranks. Tenured faculty members may be considered in accordance with the internal tenure process in effect at ETS. Tenure, the 2025-2026 salary scale, and benefits are determined according to the standards of the current collective agreement of the Association des professeurs de l'ETS (APETS).
