We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and self-directed nurse to serve as the primary clinical support in our office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, collaborative environment and enjoys taking ownership of patient care from start to finish.

Summary:
Provides patient care within the scope of practice for the licensed Registered Nurse. Facilitates patient flow and assists with prioritization of work assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Policy & Compliance Maintains full adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and professional standards.
  • Direct Patient Care Performs patient assessments, assists with exams and procedures, administers medications, and provides patient education within RN scope of practice.
  • Care Coordination Processes provider orders, returns patient calls, communicates diagnostic results, and supports continuity of care.
  • Clinical Documentation Completes accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Patient Flow Management Manages daily workflow, prioritizes tasks, and ensures efficient patient movement through the office.
  • Supply & Equipment Oversight Maintains inventory, performs equipment safety checks, and documents results.
  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention standards, and participates in quality improvement activities.
  • Patient Experience & Communication Provides exceptional customer service and communicates effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
  • Manager Directed Duties Completes additional tasks or projects assigned by the manager that fall within RN scope of practice.

Education Requirements:
Diploma, Associate Degree (ADN) or Bachelors Degree (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed to practice as Registered Nurse in North Carolina. BCLS. ACLS preferred.
