Overview
Responsible for the supervision and management of physician services of 3 or more practice locations and 11 physician/APP FTEs or 14 or more physicians/APPs FTEs. (Expectation is a secondary practice location(s), should be active at least 6 sessions per week). Under general supervision of the Executive Director, Service Line Practices, and the Practice Administrator, this individual directs, coordinates, and integrates practice resources and activities to meet the goals of the service line. This individual understands both the long-range goals and the short-term goals of WakeMed Physician Practices and remains focused on achieving objectives and standards. Works in partnership with the physician leader(s) to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (TJC, NCBON, CMS, DHHS), enhance operations and ensures physician participation and integration into the operations of the practice. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed and WakeMed Physician Practices.
