Job Title: General Laborer – Erosion Control
Job Description

This hands-on, field-based role supports construction projects by installing, maintaining, and removing erosion control measures that keep job sites safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible. You will work outdoors in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, performing physical labor and general site support tasks across various construction locations.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain erosion control Best Management Practices (BMPs), including silt fence, wattles, inlet protection, and track-out control systems.
  • Perform general site cleanup and labor duties to keep construction areas safe, organized, and compliant.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed to support daily operations.
  • Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule.
  • Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and company standards while on site.
  • Help ensure job sites remain compliant with environmental regulations and project requirements.
  • Use hand tools and other basic equipment safely and effectively during daily tasks.
Essential Skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction certification.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including hot and cold environments.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical labor throughout the workday.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn on the job.
