Job description

Position Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal team members to maintain and enhance infrastructure supporting a culture of compliance.
  • Manage legal/compliance operations, creating metrics/KPIs/dashboards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify policy and guidance needs; develop and refine policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve risk-based compliance training tailored to functional audiences.
  • Support the annual compliance risk assessment (data gathering, analysis, and program enhancement opportunities).
  • Provide practical compliance guidance and support integration of compliance controls into business processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in documentation, tracking, and reporting on compliance activities and effectiveness.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable laws/regulations/industry guidance (e.g., pricing regulations, privacy laws, OIG/DOJ guidance, PhRMA Code, state marketing compliance).
  • Lead and execute legal and compliance projects/initiatives as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, or Master’s) strongly preferred.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • 12–15+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech compliance, legal, or related functions.
  • Success implementing policy governance frameworks and compliance training programs.
  • Leadership, judgment, business acumen; ability to make informed decisions with stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of pharma-relevant laws/regulations/guidance.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk assessment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex/confidential initiatives.
