Creative Photo Studio Producer

Columbus, OH - 100% On-Site

3-6-month contract with likelihood of extension


Overview:

The Producer will be focused on the successful execution of in-house photo shoots. This role will oversee daily ecommerce photo shoots and lead production of in-house editorial and special projects shoots. The Producer is excited about the behind-the-scenes work and the many details that make a photo shoot. This team player loves a fast-paced and always evolving environment and enjoys collaboration with in-house photographers, stylists, and art directors.


Responsibilities:

  • Reporting into the Sr. Production Manager, leading production for elevated on-figure and editorial still life photo shoots
  • Manage weekly on-figure studio shooting schedule with the Assistant Producer based on current and upcoming sample availability and deliverable requests
  • Coordinate and manage weekly freelance needs across multiple brands and teams
  • Provide on-set daily production support for all brands in-house photo shoots including assisting photography team in set pre-lights and strikes
  • Lead casting efforts for model talent and ensure casting efforts align with brands' vision and budget
  • Own and maintain the casting process, including database and meeting management
  • Negotiate rate and usage for external talent and crew, ensuring all talent and crew releases and contracts are signed and archived
  • Co-produce on-figure studio shoots alongside other Sr. Producers
  • Arrange and approve air travel, hotel, ground, and per diem for talent and hair & make-up artists for in-house editorial and kids photo shoots
  • Run sample maintenance reports using company database; Assess and communicate results to studio team weekly
  • Assist Assistant Producers with vendor set-up process as needed
  • Source top freelance talent (local & non-local) and continue to build strong relationships with studio vendors
  • Process, submit, and track vendor invoices and expenses on a weekly or bi-weekly basis; Support Sr. Production Manager with monthly budget maintenance
  • Inventory and send out studio equipment for maintenance and repair
  • Collaborate with studio leads and third-party production team on other in-house studio shoots as needed
  • Work closely with studio leadership to improve current studio processes
  • Uphold high studio standards for all brands and teams


Requirements:

  • 4-8+ years of photo, video, and/or creative production experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience
  • Very strong organizational, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Sharp budgeting and negotiation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Solution-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Passion for creative works, photography, art, and fashion
  • Ability to lift and move studio equipment and props
  • Proficient in MS office suite and Google Docs
  • Familiar with Apple OS, Adobe Creative Suite, and JIRA software
