Job description

Role Summary

The Photo Producer is responsible for assisting with and executing all Urban Outfitters photography assets including E-commerce, Creative Marketing, Partnerships, and Special Projects. This includes managing project budgets, as well as sourcing and booking models, photographers, crew, locations, and all production related needs. In collaboration with the Creative Directors, Art Directors, and the Production Team - the Photo Producer helps execute overall creative concepts. 

Role Responsibilities

Management of photo shoot production and budgets for the Urban Outfitters e-commerce and creative marketing shoots Continually identify emerging photographers, hair/makeup artists, compelling locations with an intuitive understanding of the UO brand Travel to all shoot locations and manage on-set operations Maintain active relationships with external agencies and vendors Work with the Director of Production to forecast monthly spend based on creative and marketing needs Coordinate all travel and logistics of domestic and international shoots

Role Qualifications

3+ years in photo production with a production company, photo agency, or apparel brand Educational background in Photography, Project Management, or similar discipline An understanding of the trends and taste of the UO customer An Ability to multitask between different projects A calm, strong, and intuitive personality Ability to maintain a positive attitude, respond efficiently to requests and communicate with people politely and effectively at a range of levels Collaborate with teams on a regular basis to ensure consistency in production practices and processes Strong negotiation skills - Must be able to negotiate estimates ono jobs as well as stay on budget and follow through with all requirements between agencies and partners Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, and execute methodically Excellient planning and organization skills; Attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs On-set experience managing large crews Adaptive to change and tight deadlines Enthusiastic team player Knowledge of Except, Asana, and Google Suite
