About The Role:
The role requires previous experience in operating a Kodak Nexpress. You must be a highly self-motivated individual who takes a flexible approach to managing workloads and demands and ensures detailed attention is paid to all work. Enthusiasm and a high level of focus are essential. The work will be fast paced and we require the successful candidate to rise to this challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Running the Kodak Nexpress on a daily basis.
  • Ripping files produced from static and variable data files using digital print equipment.
  • Excellent colour vision and understanding for digitally manipulating colour calibration set-up to meet expectations for colour targets.
  • Reviewing all proofs and final product samples produced on digital equipment before releasing to internal or external customers.
  • Conducting regular and special maintenance on equipment to achieve maximum machine performance.
  • Recording maintenance and service calls in maintenance log book as required.
  • Inventory management and ordering spare parts.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that all print is finished to the highest standards prior to dispatch.

Qualifications
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in running the Kodak Nexpress and a user certification will be a plus.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility in being able to operate different equipment and undertakeโ€ข Willingness to learn new processes and methods of working
  • Energetic & Enthusiastic approachโ€ข Recent and stable work history is required
  • Applicants must be able to work effectively as part of a team and also use their own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
