Job description

The QA/QC Technician supports Enterprise Electrical's National Accounts team by ensuring all electrical installations on mission-critical data center projects meet company standards, client specifications, NEC requirements, and project quality plans. This role is hands-on in the field and works closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and field crews to proactively identify issues, document inspections, and support successful project delivery.
Quality Assurance & Control
  • Perform routine field inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with:
  • Project drawings and specifications
  • NEC and local AHJ requirements
  • Enterprise Electrical quality standards
  • Identify deficiencies, document findings, and track corrective actions to closure
  • Verify installation quality for raceways, grounding/bonding, terminations, equipment set, labeling, and finishes

Documentation & Reporting
  • Complete QA/QC checklists, inspection reports, and punch lists
  • Maintain accurate records including:
  • Inspection logs
  • Non-conformance reports (NCRs)
  • As-built markups and photo documentation
  • Support turnover packages, commissioning readiness, and client inspections

Coordination & Communication
  • Work closely with:
  • Superintendents and Foremen
  • Project Managers and QA/QC leadership
  • Client representatives and third-party inspectors
  • Communicate quality issues clearly and professionally to field leadership
  • Participate in pre-task planning and quality walk-downs

Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure work aligns with jobsite safety requirements and Enterprise Electrical safety standards
  • Stop and escalate work that presents quality or safety risks
  • Support audits, inspections, and owner walkthroughs

Requirements
3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technical training in construction, electrical, or related field preferred

Certifications/Licenses:
  • OSHA 10 preferred
  • First Aid/CPR preferred
  • Valid driver's license required with acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)

Experience Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of experience in construction, electrical, or related field preferred
  • Exposure to QA/QC processes or inspection activities is a plus

Strong working knowledge of:
  • NEC
  • Electrical drawings and specifications
  • Quality control processes
  • Ability to read blueprints and identify installation discrepancies
  • Proficient with tablets, mobile apps, and digital documentation tools
  • Willingness to travel extensively for National Accounts projects
  • Journeyman Electrician license (any state)
  • QA/QC, commissioning, or inspection background
  • Experience working with hyperscale or colocation data center clients
  • Familiarity with testing, turnover, and commissioning processes
