About the role:

Clutch is looking for an Inventory Photographer (Evening Shift) as a critical member of our team! In this position, you will be working within the Photography Group, you will be responsible for taking great photos of our vehicles and uploading them to our database. Daily tasks include taking interior exterior, and damage photos, photo uploading, as well as vehicle shuttling. As an Inventory Photographer you will be responsible for everything that goes into making a Clutch car what it is.

Being highly organized, having strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail are all necessities due to the high volume of vehicles that are bought and sold week to week! The shift schedule is Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM, and includes a $1.50 per hour shift premium.

What you'll do:ย 

  • Properly handle company provided camera equipment to take interior and exterior photos of each vehicle
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of the vehicles for cleanliness and accurately identify any imperfections that are within Clutch's vehicle standards to make sure they are displayed correctly
  • Shuttle cars between warehouses and outside lots
  • Maintain a high level consistency in your photos by following a standard shot list for each vehicle (all details captured, proper exposure and composition)
  • Edit and upload photos to the company's administrative application (cropping, straightening, exposure mostly)
  • Provide feedback to the team on process improvement initiatives

We're looking for:ย 

  • Tech-savvy: you're comfortable with cameras and familiar with its functions and basic editing
  • An interest in the automotive industry and feel comfortable troubleshooting basic vehicle issues
  • People leadership experience or mentorship - you're a team player above all else
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a get-it-done, bias-towards-action attitudeย 
  • High attention to detail while being able to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License (Clean Driver's Abstract)
  • Post-Secondary Education

  • Previous automotive experience
  • Interest/experience with photography and photo editing
  • Experience with partner sites (AutoTrader, Kijiji, etc.)
  • Comfortable driving manual transmission
