Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • A module equipment engineer will work in the lithography equipment engineering team.
  • Learn and understand tool design to enhance equipment availability.
  • Maintaining equipment stability and driving improvements through logical problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work in a fab manufacturing environment that operates 24x7.

Job Qualifications

  • Perform data analysis using SPC, Real-time monitoring methods, and additional sources to monitor and maintain the performance of the equipment
  • BS or MS in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
  • 0-3 years' experience in semiconductor photo process engineering
  • Host/attend routine meeting with head quarter for KPI/Technical skill sharing
  • Working closely with technician team including tool troubleshooting, training, and routine PM
  • Plan and perform preventative maintenance of eqp. with technician team
  • Develop and Implement improvements for Availability and Reliability of equipment
  • Continuous Improvement in Quality performance, Cost, and Throughput
  • Track and maintain adequate spare parts inventory for maintenance needs to limit tool down time
  • Interact with both internal customers and vendors as needed to improve the performance and modification of equipment as needed.
  • Supervise and support the installation or move of equipment
  • Troubleshoot tool issues of complex electric and mechanical systems to quickly diagnose and repair
  • Responsible for week/weekend for both on-call and on-site overtime if needed

Physical Requirement:

  • Ability to spend majority of shift on feet, both walking and standing, with occasional sitting.
  • Frequent coordinated use of hands.
  • Lift and or carry up to 56 pounds.
  • Pushing or pulling 66 pounds.
  • Occasionally reach, bend forward while standing, or squat.

Work Location & Schedule: 

This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $87,000 and $106,764 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $87,000 - $115,580 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC's total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.

* This position is also eligible for a Sign-On Bonus depending on various factors.

* This position is also eligible for a Relocation Bonus depending on various factors.
