Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS certification for a 13-week assignment at an outpatient imaging center serving a freestanding emergency room.

Details
  • Outpatient imaging center that also provides services to a freestanding ER
  • Patient population includes adult, ER, ICU, NICU, pediatric, and high-risk OB cases
  • Average daily census of 24 patients
  • Procedures include general ultrasound, OB/GYN, neonatal, and vascular studies
  • Charting via Epic; Philips equipment and Trophon experience preferred
  • PACS system experience preferred
  • Monday through Friday day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
  • No weekend, on-call, or float requirements
  • Block scheduling accommodations available
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience required; 3 years preferred
  • ARDMS (AB, OB/GYN, or VT) or ARRT (S) required at time of hire
  • RDMS-OB required; if not registered at time of hire, registry must be obtained within 12 months with first attempt within 6 months
  • RDCS preferred
  • Current BLS required
  • Proficiency in general ultrasound, OB/GYN, neonatal, and vascular imaging required
  • Experience in adult, ER, ICU, NICU, pediatric, high-risk OB, and portable imaging settings required
  • License required if applicable

  • Trauma Level II hospital affiliation
