Job description

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of imaging equipment, patient monitoring, and supporting angiography and neuro-interventional procedures in a hospital setting. This opportunity is located in Richmond, VA.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years of IR technologist experience with references.
  • Experience with Neuro IR procedures. (Client specific requirement.)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • BLS certification.
  • State radiologic technologist license for Virginia.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Philips and GE biplane angiography systems.
  • Experience using Meditech EMR.
  • Prior experience in an angiography/special procedures or high-volume neuro IR unit.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 07:00–17:30.
  • Dress code: navy scrubs.
  • May require call coverage after hours and on weekends.
  • Works in an angiography/special procedures unit supporting neuro-intensive volumes.

As a travel health professional you will support high-acuity neuro and interventional procedures that directly affect patient outcomes. You will join a multidisciplinary team in a hospital angiography/special procedures unit that uses biplane imaging systems and Meditech EMR to deliver care.
