Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Profession: Nursing

Specialty: Radiology

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Monday to Friday

Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience: Minimum 3 years

License: RN

Certifications: ACLS

Must-Have: ACLS certification

Comfortable performing conscious sedation under the direct supervision of a radiologist

Description: The ideal candidate will work in the interventional radiology department. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals during invasive procedures. Candidates should have experience in interventional radiology or cath lab settings. A background in emergency department or intensive care unit settings is preferred. The unit has a patient ratio of 1 RN to 1 patient. Candidates should be confident, and more comfortable working in a group setting. The equipment used includes Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ US machines. The dress code consists of light blue surgical scrubs, which are supplied by the facility.
