TheDepartment of Biology at the University of New Mexico invites applications fora Post-Doctoral Fellow to begin in June 2026. This is a full-time position withspecialization in Biology Education Research. Applicants must have a PhD in biologyeducation research, STEM education research, discipline-based educationresearch (DBER), or a closely related field with an emphasis on mixed methodsresearch by date of appointment.

Theresponsibilities of this position will be to lead data collection and analysisefforts on grant-funded program-related research projects. Candidate willengage in scholarship activities (publishing and presenting at conferences) andmentor undergraduate students in education research.
It will include workingcollaboratively across NSF grant PIs and leadership and assisting with NSFgrant program logistics. The position will also assist with development,implementation, and assessment of development of nationwide program that aimsto improve graduate teaching assistant teaching professional development
