Applications are being accepted for the position of Instructional Specialist. School business hours are M-F 7:30-4:00 with flexibility required to support evening classes, events, and meetings.
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Associate Chief Academic Officer over EVIT CTED Satellite Programming and Adult Education, the Instructional Specialist will work to support teaching and learning for their assigned school(s), programs, and program areas. The primary focus will be in supporting and training teachers in the effective planning of lessons, interventions, and instructional strategies. The Instructional Specialist will plan and deliver professional development opportunities as guided by the administration, coordinate the new teacher mentor program, and help to ensure the fidelity of the program implementation and compliance with state and district requirements.
Job Type: Full Time Exempt, 12 Month Calendar
Salary: $82,983.00 - $119,228.00 Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor degree in Curriculum & Instruction, Education or closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Teaching certificate in any secondary area
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
  • Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through Arizona Department of Public Safety.
  • Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) if born after January 1, 1957.
