Job Summary and Qualifications

Schedule: Monday-Friday 430AM-1PM

The Pharmacy Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, transportation, and inventory management. The Pharmacy Logistics Supervisor is also responsible for the hiring, training, orientation, supervision, and evaluation of all Pharmacy employees.

  • Oversees all pharmacy supply chain functions
  •  Maintains operating expenses based on an annual operating budget
  •  Provides training to all new employees
  •  Meets or exceeds warehouse Key Performance Indicators; prepares Pharmacy Key Performance Indicator report
  •  Ensures that all policies and procedures are being followed by the staff
  •  Ensures the highest levels of Inventory accuracy are met or exceeded; ensures the highest quality and accuracy for all pharmacy processes
  •  Maintains effective communication with customers, co-workers, and other team members
  •  Ensures that all material handling and transportation equipment is properly maintained
  •  Supervises cycle counting process
  •  Supervises physical inventory counts during inventory process
  •  Ensures pharmacy operations meet all department mandated timeframes and deadlines
  •  Prepares and conducts annual performance reviews for pharmacy staff

What qualifications you will need:

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelorโ€™s or Associateโ€™s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related discipline Preferred

Licenses, Certifications, & Training:

  • Pharmacy Technician certification and registration as required by state, otherwise preferred ,
  • Five yearsโ€™ warehouse operations management experience, Preferred
  • Experience in healthcare distribution or pharmacy, Preferred
  • Experience utilizing WMS software, Preferred
  • Valid State Driverโ€™s License, Required
