Job description

Become a part of our caring community
 The Mail Order/OTC Pharmacy Distribution Tech 4 processes and dispenses or directly supports the processing and dispensing of Traditional prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and handles complex and/or escalated issues. The Mail Order/OTC Pharmacy Distribution tech 4 assumes ownership and leads advanced and highly specialized administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment.
  • Work in a mail-order distribution center in a non-customer facing role.
  • Manage workflow, distribute work assignments, and monitor progress towards schedules/goals
  • Manage daily priorities for the team and/or external vendors
  • Analyzes distribution and supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Assists Pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing directly or through program/process development.
  • Comply with all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Report on production
  • Lead occasional meetings and participate in some leadership meetings
  • Work 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM Monday through Friday (four 10-hour shifts)

Required Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in a retail, mail order or clinical pharmacy
  • 1 - 5 years of leadership experience
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
  • National Certification - CPhT (PTCB or ExCPT)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in a mail order/distribution environment

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
