Job Description

Daily Responsibilities of Registered Nurse Concurrent Review;

  • Telephonically review inpatient admissions to assure appropriate level of care and medical necessity
  • Review admissions through telephonic review to ensure medical necessity and appropriate level of care.
  • Review and audit patient charts
  • Act as clinical resources to referral staff and make appropriate referrals.
  • Provide patient and provider education.
  • Data enters assessments, authorizations and reviews into the system.



Qualifications

Requirements of Registered Nurse Concurrent Review;

  • Current, active RN in the state of Florida
  • 2+ years of clinical nursing experience
  • Utilization management, Utilization Review, Concurrent Review, or Prior Authorizations experience

Hours for this Position:

Monday - Friday 8AM - 5:30PM; 100% office based
