Job description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong IVIG infusion and in-home infusion experience to join our growing home infusion team. This position involves administering intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy to patients in the comfort of their homes while ensuring the highest standards of safety, care, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer IVIG infusions in patients' homes according to physician orders and company protocols
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after infusion
  • Monitor for adverse reactions and manage infusion-related complications
  • Start and maintain peripheral IV lines (PIV); central line experience preferred (PICC/Port)
  • Educate patients and caregivers on medication, potential side effects, and self-care
  • Accurately document infusion details and patient responses in EMR
  • Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and care coordinators
